• Winter in July

    We Minnesotans know winters can be long, but we make adaptations so we can make the best of it. We invest in proper winter gear so we can enjoy the sunny outdoors even when it’s below freezing. We buy snowblowers for our driveways and ice scrapers for our cars so we can still get around town. Dr. Michael Osterholm, an epidemiologist at the University of Minnesota, recently said this COVID-19 pandemic is like a very long Minnesota winter, and we just went through a surprise late October blizzard. There is more to come. I don’t bring this up as a discouragement, but more so our mindset can be adjusted accordingly.…
